In 1776 we declared our Independence from England

What a wonderful day that was for the USA

Thank you for this Independence Day

 

God will you bless American even though we leave you out

Of so many things that it is you  it is  about

You must be ashamed of this country you made

We have left you out in so many ways

Thank you for Independence Day

 

Why don’t we pray and salute our flag

We have allowed others to take this away

God we love you and I pray that we will not lag

Allow the unbelievers to take down our flag

Thank you for Independence Day

 

You have asked us to humble ourselves and pray

May we do this so our land will be healed from strife

Help us to lay down our guns and our knife

To live for our Lord Jesus in peace and in quite

Thank you for Independence Day

 

May you keep God in your Fourth of July

I cannot forget for a moment when I pray

To thank my God for what you say

When I think of my blessings

The first one is you

Who loved me and taught me the right thing to do

If there was ever a role model for mothers

It just has to be you

Who wasn’t afraid to discipline me

It was just the thing to do

Thank You Mother

 

You always had a compliment when I tried to do my best

It was not always perfect but you loved me no less

Thank you Mother

 

I want to thank the Lord for placing me in your life

Your teachings took, now I have a great life

Thank You Mother

God tells me that He will meet my needs

He has kept His word oh yes in deed

I am not rich or the healthiest there is

I have enough

 

He did not promise me a rose garden

Just that my needs would be met this day

He tells me to share because some cannot pay

I have enough

 

Jesus has shown me children that needed a kind word

He has placed them clearly into my world

He gave me the words to say to them

I have enough

 

I have a home and a nice place to sleep

Covers on my bed and especially sheets

I have plenty of food that He provides

I can go buy a candy bar if I so desire

I have enough

 

His word is in my home and I read it daily

He speaks to me and leaves nothing out

To show me the way He desires me to go

Not for a moment is it for show

What we do is because He allowed it

I have enough

 

God has blessed me in so many ways

I notice something new every single day

He kept His promise and I need to obey

I have enough

Where has the time gone for all
Seems like yesterday we had no one to call
Another day and another year
Blessed 2010
So much has happen in this past year
Many a smile and lots of tears
To each of us but we all knew that Jesus was here

The more the years the closer to heaven we are
That is not so bad when you think where we are
Blessed 2010
Oh how we need to use each day that is given
to win soul to Christ so they can go to heaven
Blessed 2010
So many fears what tomorrow will bring
Happiness should be our theme
Jesus loves you and will protect you this year
So don’t fret over this passing of time
God is great and God is good so don’t you mind

The economy is bad and you are afraid

Your children are rebellious and will not obey

Pray

 

God loves you and want you to serve Him

Give your heart to Jesus and bad things will become dim

As I look around and see all that he has done for me
Without His love where would I be

He gave me the greatest man for me
The love of God is in his heart for all to see
He loves me as Christ loves the church
I love him back and that is the way it is to be
I praise my Lord
 
Two son are mine by His divine purpose
I was not to have children but He gave me
 The desires of my heart
My family is a blessing beyond measure
I praise my Lord
He gave me a home, food, a bed and a car
to take me where I please
That is my Lord who meets all my needs
I praise my Lord
 
He gave me friends for fellowship and love
He is my savior, my God above
Who lives in my heart and is a personal friend
Nothing more to say, how could I begin
I praise the Lord

They needed a friend and someone that would not show
Their secrets to others were safe with me
I answered them and prayed for the request you see

I picked up the phone and called my elderly sister
We talked and shared just above a whisper
I could not see her but heard her sweet voice
We need to check on those we love it is our choice
Thank God for everything

My husband was hungry so we went downstairs
Put food in the microwave and ate right there
Oh how often we forget to thank Him
For all the things we take for granted each day
May you bow your head now and pray

Thinking of our troops fighting in that sand

We call ourselves believers in all that is right

Yet we abort our babies and with each other fight

Does not seem to matter what the fight is about

It is I am right and your are wrong, isn’t that right?

To come together and love one another as our self

That is what our God would like from us

Let us pray for the politician that they will get right with Him

So much confusion everyday of our life

Our little children cannot understand all this strife

Neighbor against neighbor, State against state

What in the world will be our fate?

We need a prayer meeting across our land

Gather together bow before Him and pray

For guidance and mercy that we need every day
