I heard my Savior say,
“My dear, you need to pray.
Tell me of your needs, wants, and desires;
Just today.

One of my children is so lonely today,
Sick and frail, and needs a friend.
You need to go visit for me.
That is the way it needs to be;
Just today.

When I awoke this morning you were on my mind

I thought if you were ill, in need or someone had been unkind

I prayed for you today

As I walked into the kitchen my coffee to make

You were on my mind and I asked Jesus to take

Your worries and concern away from you mind

I prayed for you today

I sat down in my favorite chair and Hs word I read

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament

Which is shed for many for the remission of sin

I prayed for you today

Today will be whatever we would like it to be

The choices are ours to be blind to His word or to see

That He paid the price for us, there was no fee

I prayed for you today

May God be the center of your universe

Do not be sad, angry or curse

Just look to him and at this verse

I prayed for you today

Bow your head and ask for His forgiveness

Ask Him to come and to be Lord of your life

Be obedient and there will be much less strife

I prayed for you today

My dear Father have I made a difference for you?

Oh how I pray that I have and will continue to do so.

My desire is to find my purpose that you place me here to do.

Have I made a difference?

In some small way I often pray

That you will send someone my way

Where I can witness for you dear Lord.

There is your bird that is sitting on the wind sill to let me know you are so real.

I look out at the sunshine you gave me today

My desire is to bring that light into someone’s life, I pray.

If only I could tell someone of your love today.

Have I made a difference/

Lead me to some soul who needs you

I would walk a mile to let them know your love.

Just lead me to that person who is so distraught.

Their heart is breaking and needs you to mend that heart.

Father help me to make a difference

Jesus knew me before I was born

He told me so in His own words

Oh yes He did

He watched over me as I grew

With all the protection I needed

Provisions He made just for me

Oh yes He did

He came into this world to save my soul

Asking me to accept Him and to be bold

Oh yes He did

He went to the cross so I would not be lost

When He arose on that third day, it was for me

He became my boss

Oh Yes he did

When He said,” come follow me.”

He wanted me to be all that I could be

Not for my pleasure but for His

Oh yes He did

He fed five thousand with only a small amount of bread and very few fish

Oh yes He did

He walked on water for others to believe

He told Noah to build an ark for others to see

Oh yes He did

He asked me to witness to the world

To be His voice, His hands and His feet

Oh yes He did

Will you follow this mighty God today?

Oh I hope you will

Jesus is my Saviour's name.
What a beautiful name it is to me.



He knew me before I was born and I have a purpose.

We talk about everything under the sun.


Each day, as we visit and run all around,
I never have anyone to ask me about Jesus.

When I visit someone or go to the mall,
Often, I tell people what He has done for me.

I don't need to preach to them or come on strong,
Just be myself and talk about my Saviour.
 
As a senior citizen, I enjoy telling about my sons,
How much fun my grandchildren are, and brag about my life.

It is easy to let others know that Jesus is the one
That is so dear to me.  He loves me more than I could ever love.
 
He died on the cross that I might live forever with Him.
One day may come that I cannot speak.

Hopefully, the ones that pass my way, this day,
Will know that Jesus is most important to me.
 
Tomorrow may never come and I have to ask myself
"Would it be fine with Him, the way that I have lived, today?"

If I could measure my goodness on the scale of one to ten,
To be honest, I am not good.  Zero it would be because of my sin.

Regardless of how good I try to be,
I am only a sinner saved by GRACE.

Today as I thought about what is real

I realized just Jesus is what I feel

He is the one who has saved my soul

I am sure

Jesus died on the cross to save me

For me to share His love with others

It is in His word for all to read

I am sure

God will listen to my prayers

When I ask forgiveness for my sin

This is the way that salvation begins

I am sure

I asked God to come into my life

To save me because of the cross

He said, “cast your burden on me, I care for you”

I am sure

God watches over me every day

Regardless of what the world will say

He loves me and has a perfect will

My sins are forgiven

I am sure

Give your life to Jesus today

Read his word, worship him

Praise Him for all that He has done

You will be blessed

Forty two years ago, a young lady appeared in my life,
In a miraculous way.  She gave me a baby boy who was a delight.
She was an unwed mother who did not want to abort.
I wanted a baby more than anything in this world.
She came, from far away, to give me this one she loved;
Just a miracle from above.

She brought along Kelli, his sister we met.
His sister looked just like him, and there is no regret
That she came into my life, in God’s timing.
A blessing she is and will forever be
Apart of this family, who loves her so much;
Just a miracle from above

We often say we have sisters in Christ and we do if we are saved
I have one, that I call my daughter, because I had the privilege of introducing her to Jesus Christ and Amy accepted Him as her Saviour
A better Christian I have never met, when she accepted Jesus, She completely surrender to Him
She has a voice that is more beautiful than any bird I have heard
Amy uses this gift for our Lord, She has been blessed with a wonderful husband and four little boys.
I received a call this week, that my dear spiritual daughter has cancer
A very serious type, I understand. She will have a breast removed and go through a valley that she cannot comprehend
One thing I personally know, that our God has a perfect plan for Amy
A year ago I discovered a growth in my throat and the doctor’s were not shy telling my husband and I, how serious this could be
One possibility was that I could never speak again plus all the other things that could go wrong
It took me about three weeks for this all to sink in, and finally I was able to say” God May Your Will Be Done”
I accepted the fact that I may not wake up and I talked to my husband like I had never talked before
Preparing him for the worst, but letting him know I was ready to go home if that was God’s will
My surgery turned out just fine, I healed and I can talk
I realized that it is the valley’s that keep me closer to my God
When I am on a mountain top, I seem to forget that I need him still
My precious Amy will not go through this valley alone. He promised us to not fear that He would be near
God has a plan for this missionary appointee, she and her husband were to leave for the mission field in September
He has delayed these plans to complete His !! I know that all of this will glorify HIM.

I know that God’s word tells me
      That we will know each other in Heaven
      Will you walk around Heaven with me?

Just looking at the streets of gold
      Will be more than we can behold
      Will you walk around Heaven with me?

The beautiful river of life will  flow
      We can speak to all the folks we know
      Jesus will be smiling and His face will glow
      Will you walk around Heaven with me?

No more burdens are cares to bear
      Our love will be perfect up there
      Will you walk around Heaven with me?

      I cannot wait to see family and friends
      They will be there to tell me to come in
