God tells me that He will meet my needs

He has kept His word oh yes in deed

I am not rich or the healthiest there is

I have enough

He did not promise me a rose garden

Just that my needs would be met this day

He tells me to share because some cannot pay

I have enough

Jesus has shown me children that needed a kind word

He has placed them clearly into my world

He gave me the words to say to them

I have enough

I have a home and a nice place to sleep

Covers on my bed and especially sheets

I have plenty of food that He provides

I can go buy a candy bar if I so desire

I have enough

His word is in my home and I read it daily

He speaks to me and leaves nothing out

To show me the way He desires me to go

Not for a moment is it for show

What we do is because He allowed it

I have enough

God has blessed me in so many ways

I notice something new every single day

He kept His promise and I need to obey

I have enough

I have been so weary with fear

Someone I love and hold so dear

Became ill and needed some care

God answered someone’s prayer

Father I did not want to fear

I wanted my faith to be very clear

Yet fear crept in and I needed help

I phone friends and emailed for prayer

For the healing of the one I love

God answered someone’s prayer

The doctor did not call when I needed to hear

That all is well and the test was clear

I begged and pleaded for you to intervene

You did Lord Jesus the test was clean

God answered someone’s prayer

I stand in awe of the privilege of prayer

You are there waiting to hear

Our heartache and burdens that we fear

Thank you for answered prayer

My loved one is fine and I know that you heal

God answered someone’s prayer

Could this be a coincidence or a miracle for me?
I was to have no children according to the doctors.
Ky was adopted and together I had three.
Chad was a miracle from God above.
Then came Shay whom I dearly love.
The ironic thing you see,
is the same doctor delivered all three.
What a puzzle to some that this could be,
a husband in the military, moving about for me.
When we found out we were going to have Chad,
to Vietnam went his dear old dad.
I never dreamed this could happen twice,
then came the time to find out about Shay.
Again the military called on my guy,
‘you will go to Vietnam again to fly’.
This was God’s divine will as I can see,
He sent me back to Dr. Wilkins and my family.
I moved to Brookhaven, Mississippi for a year at a time
My babies were born in the same hospital
God has a perfect plan and this one was for sure
With my loving doctor and family around, I could endure!!

Isn’t it a nice thing when someone says ‘I am proud of you’?
Of course it is, when we are complimented,
everyone needs that now and then.
If in our family this would begin,
the parents would be thrilled and so would the kids.
Just take a few moments each day
to say something nice about the ones you love.
There is enough good in all of them,
just look at that before you begin.
I am proud of you for doing this for me.
You work hard for us to have a good home.
Maybe you need to say ‘you did well in school’.
Wouldn’t you think that the attitudes would change,
if we started with a compliment before a complaint.
There would be more happy families if we would see
the good in each other and let it be.
Each person would be more content
just because you started the compliments.
I am proud of you and hope you are proud of me !!!

This morning as I was trying to train my puppy

She ran away and would not come as I called

I got a paper and swatted her once to come

As I sweated and was totally out of breath

I simply said, Oh Lord what am I to do?

My cute little puppy then sat on the porch

She was obedient and I gave her a treat

Since I have never trained a puppy

I was sad, distraught and beat

I came into the house and the phone rang

The lady said, “I am returning your call”

I had not made a call and told her so

I said, who are you ?”Ellen the dog trainer’

Was the reply

She was so kind and sweet as we talked

I live far away from you but I will answer

Your questions anytime you would like

I took her phone number and sat in awe

With tears flowing down knowing God is in control

Of every detail of my life, even my puppy,He knows

Called my husband and son to share that call

They were not surprised, it was God after all

This prose is true as I sit here and share

That our God takes care of every need we bare

He cares about my puppy and every problem I have

Let us praise Him because

He loves us unconditionally

He gave us eternal salvation

He forgives us of our sins

He walks with us daily

He protects us from harm

He shows us what love is

He allows us to love others

He is in our hearts if we asked Him

Let us praise Him

With our ears of what we listen to

With our mouth in songs and prayer

With what we say and how we say it

With our hands on what we touch

With our feet wherever we go

Let us praise Him

Oh let us praise Him now
